Arsenal Remain Odds-On for Eze, But Spurs May Swoop Following Maddison Injury

Eberechi Eze’s future continues to be up in the air with the transfer window still open and Arsenal remain 8/13 favourites with UK Betting Sites to sign the Crystal Palace star despite no formal bid being lodged so far.

Tottenham are now 7/1 second-favourites to snap up the England international after James Maddison suffered a serious-looking knee injury in Spurs’ 1-1 draw against Newcastle yesterday.

According to BBC Sport, Eze is “very open” to the move, but Arsenal are yet to meet the reported £68 million release clause, instead preferring to offload an attacking player before committing to a deal.

Bet365's latest market gives an implied probability of 61.9% that Arsenal sign Eze in the final weeks of the transfer window.

North London Clubs on Alert as Eze Keeps Options Open

At 27, Eze is in the prime of his career and remains one of Palace’s most valuable assets.

With his creative flair and proven Premier League pedigree, he would represent a major upgrade for any of the league’s top-six clubs.

Tottenham’s sudden involvement adds a twist to what had been shaping up as a one-horse race.

Should Arsenal stall further, Thomas Frank's side may be tempted to take advantage.
