I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Haaland 5/1 favourite for PFA POTY after scoring 6 in first 5 games.
  • Mo Salah second favourite at 8/1 as he looks to defend his crown.
  • Isak, Van Dijk and Saka round out the top five in Bet365’s market.

Haaland Back on Top

Three years after his record-breaking debut campaign, Erling Haaland is once again the frontrunner for the PFA Player of the Year award.

The Norwegian striker has started the 2025/26 season in devastating fashion, scoring six goals in five games for Manchester City.

Bet365 now have him as the 5/1 favourite to scoop the prize he first won in 2022/23.

If he maintains his early-season scoring rate, Haaland could be on course for another prolific season that would make him very difficult to overlook when the votes are cast.

UK Betting Sites give odds for the award with five games played in the Premier League so far this campaign.

Salah, Isak and Van Dijk Among Challengers

Mo Salah, last season’s winner, is priced at 8/1 to retain his award.

The Egyptian remains Liverpool’s talisman, but history is against him with only Kevin De Bruyne retaining the award in back-to-back seasons in 15 years.

His teammates Alexander Isak (10/1) and Virgil van Dijk (10/1) also feature prominently in the betting.

Isak’s goalscoring form has made him one of the Premier League’s most feared strikers, while Van Dijk’s leadership at the back remains a cornerstone of Liverpool’s title push.

Bukayo Saka (12/1) rounds off the early top five. Arsenal’s star man continues to grow in influence and would be a popular winner if he can inspire the Gunners to silverware this season.

What the expert says...
Haaland’s odds at 5/1 look fair given his scoring form, but value might lie elsewhere. Salah is proven, Isak could be emerging as a real force, and Saka’s price could shorten if Arsenal challenge for the title.
