I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Erling Haaland is 5/4 favourite with bet365 to win the 2025/26 PFA Player of the Year award.
  • Declan Rice is into 5/2 second favourite following another dominant month as Arsenal stay top of the Premier League.
  • UK betting sites now offering markets for POTY as the title race intensifies.

Haaland Bags Another Brace as PFA POTY Race Heats Up

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland remains the frontrunner with bookmakers in the race for the 2025/26 PFA Player of the Year award, following a two-goal haul in Sunday’s win over Crystal Palace.

The Norwegian now has 17 league goals this season, keeping him atop the scoring charts and firmly in the spotlight.

bet365 continue to back the 22/23 POTY, pricing him as the 5/4 favourite to win the crown for a second time.

But with City still trailing Arsenal in the title race, Declan Rice’s performances in midfield are not going unnoticed and the England star has shortened to 5/2 in the latest market.

Arsenal remain 4/6 favourites to win the Premier League, and if they go on to lift the trophy, it could be Rice, not Haaland, who collects the individual honours.

PFA Player of the Year 2025/26 Odds Latest Bet365 Market

PFA Player of the Year 2025/26
OddsImplied Probability
Erling Haaland5/444.4%
Declan Rice5/228.6%
Gabriel Magalhães12/17.7%
Bukayo Saka14/16.7%
Phil Foden14/16.7%

The betting suggests a two-horse race for now, but with a long way still to go in the season, the likes of Saka, Foden, and Gabriel Magalhães remain in contention. particularly if they can deliver game-changing moments in the run-in.

Rice Rising: Arsenal Star Leads Midfield and Market Surge

Few players have had the transformative impact that Declan Rice has delivered this season.

Since joining Arsenal in the summer of 2023, he has added control, leadership and goals to the Gunners’ midfield.

Having helped Arsenal maintain their position at the top of the table, Rice’s odds have tumbled from 6/1 into 5/2, making him the main challenger to Haaland in the current market.

Should Mikel Arteta’s side maintain their form and secure the title, Rice is seen as the most likely recipient of the prestigious PFA award.

Expert Insight

What the expert says...
Haaland is doing Haaland things again, but this season the story might be different. If Arsenal go all the way, Rice could be rewarded for anchoring the title charge. He’s a solid shout at 5/2 with plenty of momentum behind him.
